Sir Stanley matthews – The magician part 1
Sir Stanley matthews – The magician part 1 i got this dvd for xmas its a good look back at the career of a true legend sorry about the noise from 1.15 i was trying to open a sweet to eat while holding the camera. Sir Stanley Matthews, CBE (1 February 1915 — 23 February 2000) was an English footballer. Often regarded as one of the greatest players of the English game, he is the only player to have been knighted while still playing, as well as being the first winner of both the European Footballer of the Year and the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year awards. Matthews’ nicknames included The Wizard of the Dribble and The Magician. A vegetarian teetotaller, he kept fit enough to play at the top level until he was 50 years old. He was also the oldest player ever to play in England’s top football division and the oldest player ever to represent the country. He played his final competitive game in 1985, at the age of 70. Matthews was also an inaugural inductee to the English Football Hall of Fame in 2002 to honour his contribution to the English game.

@thetoon99 Try putting your dvd in the computer and downloading some free softwear that will allow you to edit and save it as a file that can be uploaded, i.e. an AIV FILE. Sorry if I appeared rude its just he has a special place in my heart.
@MrErnieball1 i recored it on my camera from my dvd it was not a tv programme and what about uploading it to my computer do you mean with a card thing.
what the F..k do you have any idea that videos can be uploaded to your computer? this would remove the shite noise and camera shodiness of this post. I was present when Sir Stan came to my school (Wellington, now Hanley C of E) in 1983 and played football with him on the top (boys) playground. Please find someone who can help all of us enjoy this wonderfull film by using modern technology. THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD ANYWAY.
@thetoon99 There’s also footage of “Lofty” playing in the vid, mate.
@TheLegendfamily oh this is about matthews did you mean to post this on my lofthouse videos.
@thetoon99 Loads & loads of great footage of & info on one of England’s true LEGENDS. Another interesting thing to see is the skill for a powerful No.9-type C-F that the late Nat Lofthouse undoubtedly was IMO.
i notice this is actually wrong, i have the autobiography, he signed as an office boy for stoke city on his 15th birthday
nice video, but were you munching crisps at the time ?
there seems to be a lot of outside noise !!
